Shandael Alaskan Malamutes

We have some adult retired dogs and a couple of dogs who are in need of re-homing due to the economy or other changes in their family circumstance.  Please call email: shandael@shandaelmalamutes.com if you are interested in further information about these dogs.  We need to place one or two of these dogs.

Aneeka is a five year old grey and white female.  She is very beautiful and is housebroken, obedience trained, and crate trained.  She would be happy taken for a walk in the morning and evening and laying about while you are at work.  She does not door dash or try to escape.  She is good with the cats in her family, but no guarantee can be made with other cats.  She is not dog aggressive, but I cannot guarantee that she would be good with all dogs.  I suspect if food were involved she would fight with another dog over it.  Her bad habit is that she is a counter surfer and will eat anything that is left on a counter.  She knows she shouldn’t but will steal food.  You cannot leave dog food bags out or she will over eat from them.  She is good in a crate but will whine if she hears food being prepped.  She is all about the food.   She is spayed and is available at a nominal cost.

Sorcha is a five year old black and white female.  She is very sweet with people, but can be dog aggressive.  She would be great as a playmate to a large male dog, but not good with another female. She would need to go to a training class and is currently crate trained, but not housebroken.  She would housebreak easily using a crate.  She is available for half the cost of spaying (about 150 dollars).

JC is an eight year old retired champion. He is a very handsome dog. He is in excellent health and has OFA excellent hips.  He is currently intact and if placed in a pet home would not be used for breeding.  He is available for a nominal fee and if placed in a pet home will be neutered.  He is perfectly crate trained and leash trained would be happy with a morning and evening walk and wait for you in a crate during your work day.

Misha is a 3 year old neutered male.  He is housebroken, obedience trained, and crate trained.  He is currently living in So. CA. but his family needs to place him as they have recently adopted children and there is just too much to deal with in the household with adjusting to 4 children.  He is a very beautiful dog.   You would deal directly with the current owners on the placement of this dog.

There is also a 4 mo old puppy available from another breeder.  He is grey and white and needs to go to a pet home.
